ACCOUNTANT (Cytec Insudtries Malaysia Sdn Bhd - Seremban)

Job Summary:

The person is responsible to assist Financial Controller in the day to day accounting and financial of the subsidiary companies in Malysia and Singapore. The details of responsibilities are as follows:

Responsibilities:

1.) Assist in monthly and quarterly financial closing and various financial reporting prepare under the US GAAP and MASB within stipulated deadlines.

2.) To ensure that an adequate system of internal control is maintained in complience with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

3.) Liase with the tax agentfor annual tax return filling and external auditors for statutory audit

4.) Responsible for any ad-hoc reporting / projects as assigned

Requirements:

1.) Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualification, i.e. MIA, ACCA or MACPA;

2.) At least2 - 4 years post qualifying working experience in finance, accounting or auditing field preferably with the Big Four Accounting Firms;

3.) Experience and knowledge in Sarbanes-Oxley Act and any ERP system is an added advantage;

4.) Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills and able to work under tight deadlines and fast-paced working environment; and

5.) Willing to work in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and travel to Singapore occasionaly.
