ACCOUNTANT - Synovate

(based at Menara IGB, Mid Valley - Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

Assist the Finance Manager with the following day-to-day accounting and financial operations:

1.) Monthly closing and various financial reporting within the stipulated deadlines

2.) Prepare quarterly financial forecast and annual budgets

3.) Ensure that an adequate system of internal control is maintained

4.) Responsible for any ad-hoc reporting/projects as assigned

5.) Supervise a team of 4 to 5 subordinates

Requirements:

1.) Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification

2.) At least 4 years of experience in finance /  accounting, out of which 3 years must be audit experience with a large or medium size audit firm

3.) Proactive, good communication, analytical and problem solving and able to work in a fast-paced working environment

4.) Able to work under tight deadlines and flexible to work late when required

5.) Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
