ANALYST PROGRAMMER / SENIOR ANALYST PROGRAMMER (Data Warehouse)
Responsibilities
* Development and support of Data Warehouse application
* Liaise with users to understand business, application and system requirements
* Analyse changes and impacts on existing systems
* Ensure that all documentation, processes and methodologies used in the various phases of system development and implementation and production system support are in accordance with the Group’s standards
* Develop/maintain detailed design specification
* Coordinate and facilitate discussion with different levels of personnel ranging from development management, application team leaders and other external parties that my include vendors and with other teams.
* Prepare, conduct and review of system tests, to ensure accuracy and completeness to ensure problem free-implementation
Requirements
* At least 2 - 6 years programming experience in SAS programming
* At least 2 - 6 years programming experience in Mainframe
* Good general understanding of the systems development life cycle and where the incumbent’s work fits within it
* Understanding of the general IT/IS environment including overall infrastructure, interfaces between major systems, and the roles of other IT-related units
* Appreciation of quality criteria and of the importance of quality
* Sound communications skills, particularly in liaison with internal customers
* Analytical and systematic thinking and methodical organisation

* Position is permanent.
* Will be based in Crystal Plaza, Petaling Jaya (Next to Asia Jaya Putra LRT station).
