DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
The New Media Team is responsible for spearheading AirAsia into new and exciting areas. The New Media Team will undertake projects that will increase AirAsia’s web presence in new and exciting ways.
Responsibilities:
1.) Deploy, configure, optimize and maintain database servers on multiple data centers
2.) Deploy and maintained clustered database servers
3.) Monitor, test and improve database server performance
4.) Ensure database servers are secured from intrusions
5.) Participate in data backup and disaster recovery plan created by the Infrastructure Manager
Qualifications:
1.) 2+ years of database server administration
2.) Experienced in managing MySQL clustering on Linux platform is a plus
3.) Database design experience is a plus
4.) Database optimization experience is a plus
