Amway IT Services Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Amway Incorporation, USA and an MSC Status Company, is the Global Data Centre hub located at Cyberjaya to provide IT services for Amway Affiliates in the South East Asia region. To support the expanding IT services, we now seek a suitable candidate for the following position
TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST (SYSTEM) - Amway
Responsibilities:
1.) Plan, design, operate, maintain, monitor and support our Midrange Systems, Windows Server/Desktop Systems, Enterprise System Management, Patch Management and Asset Management
2.) Perform availability measurement, capacity planning and performance tuning of Midrange Systems and Windows Server/Desktop Systems
3.) Work with IT vendors and Amway Affiliates to analyze needs and provide solutions for customers’ servers and desktop requirements
4.) Responsible for inventory and documentation of Midrange System and Windows Systems
5.) Work is normally executed at site but occasional travel to other locations locally and internationally may be needed
Requirements:
1.) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2.) 2 year intermediate AIX system administration experience or similar system administration experience in UNIX/LINUX environment will also be considered
3.) 3 years experience in supporting and administering in the Wintel Platform
4.) Certification in IBM AIX /UNIX / LINUX will be an added advantage
5.) Ability to work independently
6.) Analytical with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
7.) Possess own transport
