Graphic Designer (KL)
Job Description:
Duties include designing and creating high quality graphic elements to meet specific promotional, publication and communication needs, both internal and external, of the Corporation, and maintaining and assisting with distribution of Web site graphics, images, design attributes, style sheets, templates, and other documents under the direction of the Manager of Corporate Communications.
Job Requirements:
1. Typically qualification in graphic design and/or equivalent experience with a minimum of 1 years of marketing design experience required. Strong graphic design and production experience, including previous work experience with related vendors.
2. 1 to 2 years experience with Macromedia Flash required.
3. Must have a strong portfolio that shows both creativity and an understanding of user interaction and consists of hands-on interactive/web design work.
4. Excellent desktop publishing skills required to create high quality, professional materials.
5. Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office, HTML, CorelDraw, and Web site applications required (Subject).
6. Ability to show an exceptional eye for design and pay strict attention to detail is required.
7. Must have a high level of initiative and possess a motivation to learn.
8. Ability to provide graphic design and Flash animation samples required.
9. Must be able to analyze subject matter, incorporate analysis into design and ad layout and produce quality designs in a deadline-oriented environment.
10. Knowledge of Web video editing software, MAC-based applications preferred but not required.
11. Must have strong fundamental design skills, with an ability to work as a team player in conceiving and executing ideas that are suitable to the audience, medium and business objective.
12. Must be self-directed and disciplined and able to work without supervision, meeting technical requirements while creating work that is “on strategy”.
12. Must have excellent organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
14. Must have strong skills in full-color brochure layout and design. Ability to work on multiple projects within a deadline driven environment is a must.
15. Must be an interactive individual with an eagerness to collaborate for superior results.
16. Attention to detail with an ability to multitask, effectively balance conflicting priorities and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
17. Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing and graphic design best practices is needed.
