We are seeking keen learning candidates for the following positions:
Machine Operator - Production Departmentt
Job Description
1. Duties and Responsibilities
2. To produce/ print good and consistent quality products which can meet the requirements of the customer
3. To follow & perform the instructions which had been given by the superior
4. To keep & maintain the machine with care & according to the “Maintenance Schedule”
5. To inform/ report to the superior regarding to the breakdown of the machine or any parts that was out of order
6. To fill in “Daily Production Report” everyday
7. To ensure a clean & tidy working environment
8. To provide checking on layout, wording and colour against sample / mock up and colour proof
9. Inspects and examines printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications and external defects
10. Selects and installs rollers, screens, stencils, type, die, and cylinders in machine according to specifications, using hand tools
11. Monitors and controls operation of auxiliary equipment, such as cutters, folders, drying ovens and sanders to assemble and finish product
12. Ensure that machine continue running without stop unless breakdown
13. Keep machine down time as low as possible
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Masking skill, Plate exposing, film duplicate
2. Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the manufacture and distribution of goods
3. Controlling operations of equipment or systems
4. Inspecting and evaluating the quality of products
5. Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
6. Assessing how well one is doing when learning or doing something
Supervisory
1. To train machine apprentice to become an assistant
2. Coordinating members of a work group to accomplish tasks
Quality Awareness
1. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System & Environmental Management System
2. Meet ISO requirements & assist in maintaining & upgrading ISO awareness throughout the organisation
All the responsibilities are not fix and subjected to change. Employee shall co-operate with any additional demand from superiors time to time.
Job Requirements
1. Candidate must possess at least SPM or Certificate in related field.
2. Willing to work rotational shifts & overtime.
3. To learn machine operating skills from superior & assist superior in machine operating processes.
4. Keep machine down time as low as possible.
5. Night shift allowance are provided.
6. RM 19,000 income per annum.
