The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad (4485-H) Invites applications from suitable or qualified Malaysian citizens for the following positions: -
MANAGER, LEGAL
Responsibilities:
1. Managing corporate and commercial legal matters, litigation, conducting negotiations, drafting and vetting corporate / commercial / technical agreements and any other legal documents.
2. To provide general legal advice in relation to the Group’s daily operations.
3. To liaise with the Group’s solicitors and monitor cases handled by the panel of solicitors.
Requirements:
1. Possesses a Degree in Law (Hons) from a recognized University.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in litigation. Experience in defamation, industrial relations or corporate matters would be an added advantage.
3. Knowledge and experience in newspaper publishing industry will be an added advantage.
4. Excellent analytical and organisation skills and leadership qualities.
5. Highly motivated, resourceful and able to work independently.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a balanced personality.
