System Analyst – Applications Management (ERP/PM) grade 21
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the Manager of Applications Management, IT
2. Identify and design application development solutions to support the organisation-wide shared/common business needs.
3. Ensure the applications meet the business requirements set out.
- Manage the development, testing as well as implementations of application solutions.
- Identify application development improvement opportunities and action plans
- Manage user training and user acceptance testing
- Manage data conversion planning & design
4. Ensure staff are appropriately assigned to work efforts based on existing skills and required development needs;
- Review staff development an on-going basis
- Define monitor and drive the performance improvements of team
Requirements:
1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent qualifications
2. Application/Programming experience in not less than 2 years in at least 2 of these technologies
- Data Warehouse (MS SQL server, TM1 or SAP BW)
- Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle)
- VB.NET
3. Strong problems solving and analytical skills and ability to work together in a team environment
4. Familiar and experienced with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) and Application/Program testing procedures
5. Ability to see a task through from assignment to completion with minimal supervision
6. Experience in a banking environment is an added advantage
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and BM
8. Willingness to learn and share any information.
