Nepline Berhad is a public listed company engaged in diversified business activities in shipping which includes ship owning and other related logistic and maritime transportation services. Our subsidiary, Nepline Biotechnology Sdn Bhd, operates High Powered Ultra sound technology to extract lecithin from crude palm oil mills for use in food and industrial applications. In line with our business needs, we invite suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:
Technical Superintendent
The successful candidate will be responsible to maintain the mechanical integrity & efficiency of the assigned vessels duties include overseeing day to day engineering requirements of the vessel, planning and monitoring the schedules for repairs, maintenance, spare parts, ship inspection and dry docking in accordance with the policies of the company and in compliance with ISM requirements.
Requirements:
1. 1st class Engineer (Motorship) Certificate of Competency
2. Those with Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Marine/Mechanical) may also be considered
3. A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
4. Proactive, tactful and able to trouble shoot with minimum supervision
5. Willing to sail on a vessel
