Customer Engineer (Nationwide)
Resposibilities:
1. Perform field work and provide on site technical support to customers
2. Respond to situations when front line product support has failed
3. Perform isolation and resolve hardware and software problems at customer’s site
4. Install, configure and troubleshoot OS on desktop PCs
5. Run setup, diagnosis, repairing and maintaining of all IBM and non IBM desktop, including its peripherals
6. Handle all DOT matrix printers as well as general laser printers
7. Handle all maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving of server, network and printers
8. Respond to unscheduled or scheduled preventive maintenance
9. Provide 1st level support
10. Prepare incident and escalation report
Requirements:
1. Minimum Certificate in Computer Technology/Information Technology or its equivalent
2. At least 1 year experience in the related field, fresh graduates will also be considered
3. Able to liaise with government project teams
4. A quick learner, enjoy working with customers and possess strong interpersonal skills
5. Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals will be an added advantage
6. Must have good understanding of operating systems such as Windows XP and Windows Vista
7. Able to document problem resolutions clearly for future reference by the Support Team
